Don’t need your files backed up and restored? A straightforward macOS installation costs £60 plus VAT. Any extra work is quoted separately before we start.
Signs your Mac needs a service

When a service is not the answer
Not every slow Mac needs a software service. A failing hard drive, too little memory or a hardware fault needs a different fix, and we will tell you if that is the case. Older Macs with a mechanical hard drive often benefit more from an SSD upgrade. If your Mac can no longer keep up with what you need, our trade-in scheme lets you put it towards a refurbished Mac.

Mac servicing FAQs
Will I lose my files?
No. Our standard service includes a full backup before we start and restores your files afterwards. If you choose the macOS-only installation, back up your files first or ask us to.
Will my apps still work?
We check compatibility before choosing which macOS version to install, and talk to you about licences for paid software such as Microsoft Office or Adobe apps so they can be reinstalled.
How long does a Mac service take?
Usually around 48 hours, depending on how much data needs backing up and restoring. If you have a deadline, tell us when you book.
Is it worth servicing an old Mac?
Often, yes, especially if the hardware is healthy and it still runs the apps you need. If it is very old or needs several repairs, we will be honest and compare the cost with a refurbished replacement.
